Travel in Xinjiang
1. Where to go? What to do? And what to see in Xinjiang? (新疆; pinyin: Xīnjiāng)
Well Xinjiang is the biggest province of China (nearly 1:6 of the territory), about the size of Western Europe, so the landscapes are very rich and diverse.
Locals often tend to divide the province into 2 areas Nanjiang and Beijiang (南疆/北疆-respectively South and North XinJiang), Urumuqi or the top of the Taklamakan desert being the separation line.
